About Control A1c Levels
A small reference site about one number: the A1c. Calculators first, explanations second, every claim linked to its source.
Who we are
The site is written and maintained by the controla1clevels.com editorial team. We are not a clinic and we do not give medical advice. We do not have a medical reviewer at this time, so we do not write anything that is not backed by a published source, and each page links to those sources.
What we cover
How A1c is measured, how it converts to average glucose, what the ADA ranges and common goals are, and when the test can mislead. We do not cover treatment choices, diets or supplements.
How we keep it accurate
Formulas and how we test them are on the method page. Every page shows the date it was last reviewed against its sources.
Report an error
If you find a mistake, a broken source link or a number that does not match its source, write to info@controla1clevels.com with the page address. We correct confirmed errors and update the review date.
Money
We plan to show display ads to cover costs. Ads will never change a number or a claim on this site.
